I have served as an educator for 20 years, with the last 8 years spent in Lawrence Township Schools. I have taught first, second, third, fourth, and sixth grades, as well as served as an MLL team lead and eCoach. Currently, I teach STEAM at Harrison Hill. Being a member of the union has been a priority since I started teaching. The union has always had my back. I've dedicated more than a decade to Lawrence Township, initially beginning my journey at Fallcreek Valley Middle School. Currently, I serve as a High School English and Journalism Teacher at Lawrence Central. My enthusiasm for Politics and commitment to my educational community are evident in my roles as a building association representative, membership organizer, and Red for Ed coordinator. James Iddins is a dedicated educator, author, and union advocate with a passion for justice, transparency, and professional integrity. He brings years of classroom experience as a high school teacher, AP instructor, and College Board Reader, with a strong background in American Cultural Studies and Native American Studies. As a union representative, James is committed to protecting the rights of educators while fostering collaborative solutions to workplace challenges. His approach is grounded in thoughtful dialogue, fairness, and a belief in the collective power of educators to create meaningful change. In addition to his work in the classroom and with the union, James is an accomplished writer and sound engineer who values creativity, critical thinking, and community-building both inside and out of school.

My passion is my students and seeing them grow. I have been a speech-language pathologist for over 10 years and love to analyze and figure out how to support others. I think that is what drew me to the union. I enjoy working for positive change and am always reflecting on how to improve. I would encourage anyone who would like to see change to get involved and be a part of the process with us!

I have been a teacher in Lawrence Township since 2001. I joined the association my first year in Lawrence Township and also served as association representative for my school. I am currently a fifth-grade dual language teacher and e-coach. I believe it is important to be a member of the association because ALL teacher voices are key elements in school and district decisions.

I have been an educator in LT schools for 18 years, specializing in Graphic Design and Photography at Lawrence Central. Since August 2005, I have proudly been a part of LEA as a member. At LC, I take on the roles of Membership Chair and Building Representative. Additionally, I have enjoyed 18 years of experience as a figure skating coach.
